Agreement

By downloading or using Nibbles, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the app. These Terms form a legal agreement between you and [Nibbles Recipes] (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

What Nibbles is

Nibbles is a meal planning tool designed to help parents organise lunchbox and breakfast ideas for school-age children. It provides curated recipe suggestions based on information you enter, including children’s ages, allergen profiles, food preferences, and pantry contents.

Nibbles is a planning aid. It is not a medical tool, a dietetic service, or a substitute for professional nutritional advice.

Allergen safety — important disclaimer

Nibbles allows you to record allergen information for your children and uses that information to filter recipe suggestions. This feature is intended to help you plan more safely, but it has important limitations you must understand before relying on it:

  • You are responsible for verifying allergen safety. Always read ingredient labels on the specific products you purchase. Formulations change, and a product safe one week may contain an allergen the next.
  • Nibbles does not account for cross-contamination. Recipes that appear safe based on their ingredients may still pose a risk if prepared in environments where allergens are present.
  • Recipe tagging may contain errors. We take care to tag recipes accurately, but no system is infallible. Do not rely solely on Nibbles’ filtering to determine whether a food is safe for your child.
  • Nibbles does not replace medical advice. If your child has a diagnosed food allergy or intolerance, consult your doctor, dietitian, or allergist for guidance on managing their diet safely.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any allergic reaction, injury, or harm arising from the use of recipe suggestions provided by Nibbles.

Subscription and free trial

Nibbles offers a subscription (“Nibbles Pro”) that unlocks premium features. The following terms apply:

  • Free trial: A 30-day free trial is available to new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged.
  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select) through your Apple ID. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
  • Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal charge is processed within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Price changes: If we change the subscription price, we will notify you in advance. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
  • Restoration: If you reinstall Nibbles or switch devices, you can restore your subscription using the “Restore Purchases” option in the app.

Apple’s payment terms govern the mechanics of all transactions. We do not process payments directly and do not store payment information.

What you can and cannot do

You may use Nibbles for personal, non-commercial household meal planning. You may not:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription verification or access paid features without a valid subscription
  • Redistribute or resell the app or its recipe content

Recipe content

The recipes included in Nibbles are curated and provided for planning convenience. They are not original works attributed to specific authors and are not intended for publication or redistribution outside the app. We make no warranty that recipes are nutritionally complete, suitable for specific medical dietary requirements, or free from error.

Intellectual property

The Nibbles app, its design, branding, and recipe database are owned by [Nibbles Recipes]. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited licence to use the app for personal meal planning.

Disclaimer of warranties

Nibbles is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that recipe suggestions will meet your specific requirements. Your use of the app is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, [Nibbles Recipes] is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Nibbles, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or adverse health outcomes. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for your current subscription period, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Children’s use

Nibbles is intended for use by adults (parents and guardians). It is not designed to be used directly by children. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice or App Store release notes before the change takes effect. Continued use of Nibbles after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the app and cancel any active subscription.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [California, United States], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of [California], unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your region.
